Translating Research into Online Campaigns

Asiarooms.com: Right Room For YouOur research recently helped Asiarooms.com develop its latest initiative, “The Right Room for You” concept.

“The Right Room for You” aims to provide localised deals for the Malaysian traveller, and an extensive campaign has been launched to promote it.

Some of our findings included:

  • 50% of Malaysians who took the survey booked their travel trips online;
  • 71% of them preferred booking first and paying later;
  • 45% believe that a good deal is the right room for the right price, not necessarily the lowest price; and
  • When choosing a hotel, 52% of them regarded online reviews as the top influence in their decision-making process.
