Gracie Igaya
Executive Director
With a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications from the University of the Philippines, Gracie has over 15 years’ experience in market research, working on such industries as FMCG, telecommunications, financial services and government studies for both local and regional clients. At Nielsen International, she began her career in the Philippines before moving to Hong Kong and Singapore, working on research studies that included brand health, brand and advertising tracking, and customer satisfaction.
Here at Blackbox, Gracie looks after the financial services team while building up the FMCG business. Having worked with leading multinationals like P&G, Unilever, Johnson & Johnson and Kimberly Clark, Gracie has a particular affinity for new product development and branding research for consumer packaged goods.
Outside of work, Gracie continues her exploration of all things new – places to eat, interesting books to read, and places to explore.
Rachel Zhou
Executive Director
A native of Shanghai, Rachel has a Master’s in Applied Commerce from the University of Melbourne and a decade’s experience in the market research and advertising industry in Shanghai, Melbourne and Singapore.
At Blackbox, Rachel’s quantitative research experience has helped many local and international clients in consumer research studies covering concept evaluation, usage and attitude study, brand tracking, public perception and stakeholder satisfaction measurement. She has a particular affinity for studies related to financial services such as insurance, banking and payment cards.
When not sitting in front of numbers, Rachel enjoys spending her time on a good book with a latte in a cosy local café.
Joyce Atendido
Senior Research Manager
Born and bred in the Philippines, Joyce graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Statistics at the University of the Philippines. She started her career with The Nielsen Company and has over a decade of market research experience.
Her extensive background in consumer research methodologies have given her perceptive insights into public awareness & perception, customer satisfaction & behaviour, mystery shopping, market sizing, concept & product testing and campaign evaluation, among others.
Apart from managing key accounts, Joyce is also helping to build and strengthen the education portfolio for Blackbox.
Joyce has simple joys of spending time with family and friends and gathers the biggest fulfillment in motherhood.
Keegan Goh
Lead, Fieldwork Operations
Keegan holds an Honours Degree in Management from the University of London and came to Blackbox with over 10 years of experience in the market research industry, including leading global research agency, GfK Singapore.
Having built up its field capabilities, Keegan supervises all field operations for Blackbox. His qualitative and quantitative fieldwork capabilities encompasses industries that include the consumer electronics, telecommunication, automotive, property, information technology, entertainment and financial sectors both internationally and domestically.
Susan Lee
Administrative Manager
Susan is a Blackbox pioneer since its early days. Today, she is its administration manager and is usually the first point of contact for staff and clients new to the company. Susan’s natural ability to build relationships, bubbly personality, and cheerful, engaging manner makes her the unofficial poster girl for Blackbox, while her unrivalled bookkeeping skills and unwavering commitment in ensuring operations run smoothly makes her the backbone of the company.
Family and friends are paramount to Susan, and her favourite pastimes include movies, rock concerts, volunteer services, spa visits and meditation retreats.
